Thriving Families Christmas Event & Raffle

My Story

I have organised a Christmas Party and raffle this year on Sunday 19th December 1-3pm at Woolston Play and Sensory centre.

This is to say a big thank-you for all the loyal support, reviews, recommendations and friendly chats with all of the mums and families over the past 2 years.

It really has been a challenging time for us all particularly new mums, families and their babies.

I feel so proud and honoured to watch their little ones grow and be involved on their parenting journey.

I want to give back space and time to celebrate, have fun and socialise with other families.

I have chosen pandas as a charity to donate all proceeds raised on the day.
Pandas provide  hope, empathy and support for every parent or network affected by perinatal mental illness.
Postnatal depression (PND) is a common problem that occurs after pregnancy and affects more than 1 in 10 women within a year of giving birth. It can also affect dads and partners. PND can present itself in different ways, and many parents don’t realise they have the condition because it can develop gradually over time.

This support is very much needed right now and I speak to a lot of parents who struggle and have struggled with this illness.
I want to be able to give financial support back to the charity as well as giving local families a fun event to celebrate with their children and supporting local businesses too.
I would be so grateful for your donations and for purchasing tickets for the raffle, to raise money for such a great cause.
